A quick and flavorful marinade for tuna steaks, perfect for grilling or searing.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Place tuna steaks in a resealable bag or shallow dish.
  3. Pour marinade over tuna, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  4. Refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
  5. Grill or sear tuna steaks for 2-3 minutes per side for medium-rare.

Notes

  • For best results, pat tuna dry before marinating.
  • Do not marinate for more than 30 minutes to avoid over-tenderizing.
