A simple dump-and-bake treat perfect for fall brunch or dessert. This cozy recipe uses canned cinnamon rolls and apple pie filling for a quick, delicious, and gooey bake.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (12.7 ounce) can refrigerated cinnamon rolls with icing
  • 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Open the can of cinnamon rolls and separate them. Place the rolls in a single layer in the bottom of a greased 8×8 inch baking dish.
  3. Pour the apple pie filling evenly over the cinnamon rolls.
  4. If using, sprinkle chopped pecans and ground cinnamon over the apple pie filling.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cinnamon rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool slightly. Drizzle the included icing over the warm bake.

Notes

  • For an extra gooey texture, you can add a splash of heavy cream over the rolls before adding the apple pie filling.
  • This bake is delicious served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • You can substitute other fruit pie fillings like cherry or blueberry for a different flavor.
