Creamy Lemon Pasta

A quick and easy weeknight pasta with a bright lemon parmesan sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  3. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan until melted.
  4. Add lemon juice and zest. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Toss cooked pasta in the sauce until well coated. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for half the cream.
  • Add cooked chicken or shrimp for extra protein.
