An easy and delicious crockpot recipe for creamy ranch chicken, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 4 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional, for serving)
  • Cooked rice or pasta, for serving

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the ranch seasoning mix, condensed cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth until smooth.
  3. Pour the soup mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. Add the cubed cream cheese on top of the chicken.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  6. Shred the chicken in the slow cooker using two forks. Stir to combine with the sauce.
  7. Serve the creamy ranch chicken over cooked rice or pasta. Top with shredded cheddar cheese if desired.

Notes

  • For a thicker sauce, you can remove the lid for the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  • You can substitute chicken thighs for chicken breasts if preferred.
