A quick and easy taco pizza using crescent rolls as the crust, perfect for a weeknight dinner or party appetizer.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (8 ounce) can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup chopped black olives
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Optional toppings: sour cream, diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Press the crescent roll dough into a greased 12-inch pizza pan or baking sheet, forming a crust.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
  4. Stir in the taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until thickened.
  5. Spread the taco meat mixture evenly over the crescent roll crust.
  6. Sprinkle the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses over the meat.
  7. Add salsa, black olives, and green onions.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Add any desired optional toppings before serving.

Notes

  • For a crispier crust, pre-bake the crescent roll dough for 5-7 minutes before adding toppings.
  • You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for ground beef.
  • This pizza is great for game day or any casual gathering.
