A simple and creamy slow cooker recipe for tender, shredded ranch chicken, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet (1 ounce) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix evenly over the chicken.
  3. Pour the chicken broth over the chicken and seasoning.
  4. Add the softened cream cheese on top of the chicken.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  6. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
  7. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and stir to combine with the creamy sauce.
  8. Serve hot.

  • This shredded chicken is versatile and can be used for sandwiches, tacos, salads, pasta dishes, or served over rice.
  • For a thinner sauce, add a little more chicken broth.
