Ingredients
Scale
1 pork tenderloin (about 1.5 lbs)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup maple syrup
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Pat the pork tenderloin dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork tenderloin on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side.
While the pork sears, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
Pour the maple mustard glaze over the pork tenderloin in the skillet.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Roast for 15-20 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the pork registers 145°F (63°C).
Remove the pork from the oven and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Spoon any extra glaze from the skillet over the sliced pork before serving.
Notes
For a make-ahead option, prepare the glaze and marinate the pork for up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.
This recipe pairs well with roasted vegetables or a simple salad.
Ensure your skillet is oven-safe before using it in the oven.
